How to Use Peacock Shit

A little goes a long way.

01

Houseplants & Potted Plants

Sprinkle a small amount over the surface of the existing compost and gently work it into the top layer. Water normally.

Ideal for :

  • Houseplants
  • Bonsai
  • Potted trees and shrubs
  • Ornamental plants

02

Why Bonsai ?

Bonsai live in relatively small amounts of growing medium, making a gentle, controlled top dressing particularly useful.

No need to overthink it. A little shit, occasionally.

03

What Does It Do ?

Peacock manure is a natural source of organic matter and plant nutrients, particularly nitrogen. Nutrients are released gradually as the material breaks down.

The exact nutrient content varies naturally from batch to batch.

04

Use Sparingly

Start with a small amount and increase only if needed. Keep it away from stems and foliage.

Not recommended for acid-loving plants such as azaleas, rhododendrons, camellias and blueberries.

And, obviously, not for human or animal consumption.
